Little Threads Sewing School, powered by the Sewciety Kids® sewing curriculum, is a thoughtfully designed program that allows children to grow as sewists over time while creating projects they are truly proud of. Rather than one-time classes, students enroll in 6-week sewing sessions that gently guide them through skill-building, creativity, and confidence.

Each six-week session is part of a larger learning journey. As students continue through future sessions, they build on what they have learned, gradually moving through levels and earning Level Completion Patches to celebrate their progress. This gives children a wonderful sense of accomplishment and motivation, just like earning a badge or belt in other enrichment programs.

In Sewing School, students create a mix of beautiful and useful projects, including home décor, accessories, and clothing. Children work at their own pace, with lots of hands-on guidance in our cozy, encouraging Little Threads studio. All sewing machines, fabric, and supplies are provided so students can simply arrive and enjoy the creative process.

Alongside Sewing School, we also offer our much-loved Little Threads Quilt Club. Quilt Club is a special six-week experience where children learn the art of quilting while creating a quilt of their own from start to finish. Students choose fabrics, sew quilt blocks, assemble their quilt, and learn how to bring it all together into a finished piece they can treasure for years. It is a slower, more thoughtful style of sewing that many children find calming and deeply rewarding.

Whether your child joins Sewing School or Quilt Club, they will be welcomed into a warm, supportive environment where creativity, patience, and pride in craftsmanship are at the heart of every stitch. This winter session is just the beginning of a beautiful sewing journey at Little Threads.
